Pix Code Validator
Check a Pix copy-and-paste code: verify its CRC16 checksum and read the key, receiver, city and amount it contains, before you pay.
- Format check only
- Checks structure and check digits. It does not confirm that the document, card or account really exists.
- Private by default
- Nothing you enter leaves your browser.
How it works
A Pix code is a sequence of EMV fields ending with a CRC16 checksum. The checksum is recalculated to catch typos or tampering, and the fields are decoded so you can see who you are about to pay.
A valid checksum means the code is intact, not that the receiver is trustworthy. Your bank app always shows the final recipient before you confirm.
Questions
Can this detect a scam?
It shows the key, name and amount inside the code so you can compare them with what you expect. It cannot tell whether the receiver is honest; only your bank confirms the actual account holder.
