Unix Timestamp Converter
Convert Unix timestamps in seconds or milliseconds to readable dates, and dates back to timestamps, in UTC and your local time zone.
- Local calculation
- The result is calculated in your browser.
- Private by default
- Nothing you enter leaves your browser.
Seconds, milliseconds or a date like 2026-10-09T12:00:00Z.
How it works
A Unix timestamp counts the seconds since January 1, 1970 UTC. Values with 12 or more digits are treated as milliseconds, which is what JavaScript's Date.now() returns.
Dates are shown in ISO 8601, in UTC and in your browser's time zone, together with how long ago or how far ahead they are.
