How it works
Counts update as you type. Words are separated by whitespace, sentences end with a period, question mark or exclamation mark, and paragraphs are separated by blank lines.
Reading time assumes 230 words per minute and speaking time 130 words per minute, typical averages for adults reading silently and presenting aloud.
